For more than a year now I’ve been engulfed in darkness,

I never thought I’d see any light.

Now with you in my life I have a strong sense of hope.

The shadows are steadily fading away.

I’m beginning to see the light once more,

It’s beautiful.

Thank you,

You’ve helped me to find my way out of the darkness,

But I cannot allow my eyes to adjust too much,

For I feel the darkness may soon overpower the light once again.

However all I see now is the beauty of the light you’ve brought into my life.
