It brings familiarity -

And memories of you.



Autumn sings songs,

It sings of heartbreak -

And the things I've forgotten.



When was love ever so blind?

Our bond used to be unbreakable,

     Unseperable,

            We were.



Autumn brings tears,

It brings evanescense -

And the fragrance of our love.



Autumn brings pain,

It brings intangible feelings -

Emotions of a love I can no longer touch.
