Our worlds are too far apart

Now to start over

I'm sorry to say

That I wish it could be different

You and I can sit for hours

And reminisce about the past

But we can never bring ourselves

To say those three words we know

We shouldn't say anymore

We can't

Things would never be the same

No matter how much we want it to

Be how it used to be

Even though the love I had for you

Has hidden itself beneath my skin

It still lives on

And I still love you

I always will but

I have to let you be free

And I need not to move on but

Keep you close to me and

Find something for me to go on
