I know I didn't know you well,

And I guess I never will,

But I do know one thing that I never let show,

Is that you should've stayed on Earth

Instead of letting go.



You said to your friends, "See you tomorrow."

But instead you left them to cry in sorrow.

You should've thought about the things you did,

And all the people you would've left behind,

You never said to your mom, "I love you.",

But I guess now, you never will.



It's over, done, finished, and gone,

And now, you'll miss out on all the fun

You could've had growing up,

Like your first love, or even messin' up,

But I do know someone who loved you, not like you thought

But now I'll never make you see:

That the one that loved you,

Was not the kid that laughed at your joke, your teacher,

Or your parents- -

It was me.
