Dear Lord

Help me to find

A shelter

Where I can release

My pain

My inner strife

Where I can defeat

The demons of my soul



Oh Lord

Help me to face

Tomorrow

Nothing seems so less

My faith

Unshakable but yet

Questions of why

Are teasers of my soul



Dear Lord

Help me to pray

today

So I can spread warmth

Within love

To comfort and to be

Shelter for wounded souls
