My heart cries,

When I hear the broken rain,

My soul flys,

I'm not a girl that you can tame.

I'm only me,

I love being who I am,

I'll never be,

Someone that the kids call ma'am.

If you don't like the person I've become,

Well I don't really care,

I know I'll find someone,

Who'll always be right there.

And if you want me,

To be something I can't be,

Well I can tell you,

You're someone I see right through.

So if you ever wonder who I am,

I'll say I'm me,

No secrets hidden in my hand,

I'm everything that you can see.

Because I don't care,

What you think of who I am inside,

If I'm something you can't bare,

Then don't look hide your eyes.
