The Lion Kingdom Goes Bad

Nobody thought that the end of the world was approaching, it didn’t even cross their minds. The earth disappearing was not an option, but here, fellows, it’s the story of the end of the world. It all started with two ferrous lions “chitroaring” by the edge of a rock. They suddenly, as always, got hungry. They were really a good team hunting together and sharing their preys. The world was perfect, they had everything at their paws. Everyone was happy and living their lives. One day, on a typical hunting session, one of the lions, Lino, did not fulfilled his hunger leading him to take a piece from his friend’s food. His friend, Klaus S., does not took this very well. Even though they have always share their food, this time was different. Something inside of Klaus S. took full control of his anger. He suddenly become wild and defended his food not wanting to share any of it with Lino. From this day on, these lions stopped being friends and become their worst enemies. They now competed for a living always wanting to prove who ruled the kingdom.

They wanted to be the best hunter and tried to achieve that by killing the most animals they could. This was not that bad, until Lino, got tired of this and reacted unconsciously by killing Klaus S.’s family. That was not a slight move… This became more personal, and what started like a competition, transformed into a direct battle between these two lions. This war between the lions got the nature Gods furious. They thought that there was no remedy to reverse the situation, so their decision was to punish these lions by taking everything away from them. This sudden decision affected not only the lions, but every single living thing. The God of water stopped the rain and drain all the rivers, lakes, and ponds. Fish began to die, along with all the animals living on the water. Now, the lions and everybody else, had nowhere to drink water from. The God of wind, blew all the trees down and caused all the birds to die. Without trees, there’s no more oxygen produced for all the living things, so, many animals started to die because of this. The world as they knew it, was beginning to fade into darkness.

The real trouble would start if these two lions make angry the God of Light. This God has the power to turn everything dark and cold, and more dangerously, he could make the sun die if he wanted to. But the lions could only pissed off the God of light by destroying the Blue Stone of the Lion King, Nadu. This Stone has been preserved and shared by many of the greatest Lion Kings in history, and any damage to the stone would make the God of light make the world go dark by killing the sun. Unfortunately, this day came, it was a rainy day, and Lino and Klaus S. had destroyed the majority of what constitutes the Earth. They were both very exhausted because they hadn’t eaten in days. Suddenly, Nadu came and tell furiously to both lions that they are the cause of the destruction of the Earth. That their selfishness finished with their family, and their competitiveness not only finished with their friendship, it finished with themselves. At this moment, Nadu, full of rage, grabbed the Blue stone and throw it to a cliff, who normally was a waterfall, and everything turn dark... The Lion Kingdom had fallen.
