Somewhere across the sea she shines
I miss my baby so
Sun falls on my empty heart,as I open the blinds
Sweet recollections of her beauty and smile
Across the earth is my joy, there it will stay awhile
The blinds I close, the sunlight doesn't help
No rememberance of an ache this powerful, I've felt

Yet it feels as if I'm in Aspen buried in snow
