Buried deep
in my soil
in the core
of my soul,
lies pain
deep seeded
growing
out of control.
Were it to
take root
mighty tremors
would result.
A force
unleashed
by saddness,
hurt
and tumult.
My surface
would crack,
my foundation
would break.
Disaster
and ruin
of such
an earthquake.
I'd crumble,
I'd fall.
There would
be no way
to contain,
the rush
of pressure
from my
deep seeded pain.
