I'll keep a light in the window,

should you ever lose your way.

You'll see the glow and follow it,

it'll burn both night and day.



For even though you've grown up,

and you'll go out there on your own.

There will always be that light,

to see you, your way home.



I'll tend to it and keep it lit,

it will be your guiding star.

You can see it when you're near,

or when you are very far.



So I'll keep that light in the window,

should you ever need a guide.

For here within' this house,

there's love just waiting inside.
