In the black of night,

I step outside.

To find the stars,

the day tried to hide.



They're out here now,

for the world to see.

Twinkling, sparkling,

down at me.



I'm amazed at their glow,

entranced by their style.

I lay on the grass,

and look up for awhile.



Its always a pleasure,

to view constellations.

It fills me with awe,

and so many sensations.



I dream of joining them,

up there in space.

It puts a smile,

upon my face.



To be with them,

shining down on earth.

To be a new star,

that just had its birth!
