Green Christmas

Holidays All my money is gone.
I've nothing left to spend.
As is the same with everyone,
so no one has any to lend.
Its really quite expensive,
this 24 hour holiday.
By the time its over, we're scrimping by,
awaiting the next week's pay.
All our cash is lying there,
underneath the tree.
When its done, all we'll have,
is wrapping paper debis.
But we'll manage, to get by again,
long as Christmas, everyone enjoys.
Heck if all else fails,
we can always eat the toys!
