In regards to my life,

I have now realized,

its precious, its delicate

and should not be trivialized.



It can't be taken for granted,

or looked so lightly upon.

For in the quick blink of an eye

everything could all be gone.



Unfortunately, sometimes it takes

a vicious battle or attack,

to make you open your eyes

and garner the will to fight back.



It seems when I am weakest,

I find that needed strength.

And its then, that I am willing,

to win at any length.



So in regards to my life,

no matter how beaten or bruised,

I'll continue to fight the beast,

cause I refuse to be conquered or abused!
