This life has turned towards shadows,
feeling lost inside their hollowness,
and crowded out by the light.

Warnings are never heeded,
when warnings are failed to be given,
only to be left with fate as steadfast companion.

It has not turned towards the direction
to which I had once hoped
and has failed to comply with my utmost desires.

Its left me in the wake of grief.
Buried beyond any reachable grasp
and mourning a life that was never to be.
