Rain...Spring's Refresher

Wildlife/Nature A soft rain is falling,
I hear it coming down.
I smell its sweet scent,
as it permeates all around.
It hangs on the grass,
and clings to the trees.
It brings out the flowers,
the birds and the bees.
They all love to feel its coolness,
It refreshes in every place.
I love to go and stand in it,
and feel it on my face.
Its over as soon as it started,
and the sun comes out once more.
But it will be back again,
for its what Spring has in store.
