Fable - Between two worlds
A new day was starting in the earth, in a very unusual way in which living things are used to. There was a camel walking by a dry lake with the hope of finding some water in a completely destroyed and new world for him. He was shocked with the view; there were lots of dead plants, grasses, and trees. He was lost and confused, but finally he saw something. It was a shape of a creature lying in the ground, so he started to walk straight to this unknown living thing. As the camel approached to the shape, he could see this kind of animal he had never seen before. The animal had dark eyes, deformed face and small body. The camel was beyond scared, but full of curiosity he finally took the courage to wake the creature up and ask:
Camel: “What are you? “
Creature: “I’m one of the new creatures of earth”
Camel: “What do you mean? “
Creature: “Yes, your world came to an end a few days ago. Humans destroyed it all. Now, this is the new life, the new stage of earth”
Camel: “But this new world looks so sad and it scares me”
The creature didn’t say anything; just smiled and walked away without giving any other explanation to the poor camel. Lots of questions rounded the camel’s head. What happened with his family? And to his friends? His expression became sadder and speechless. He just wanted to go back in time, to his world, where he was happy.
He knew that he couldn’t stay there in the middle of nothing, so he decided to take a look to this new world. In his walk he just saw other strange animals, different from the one at the beginning, he didn’t saw any human population neither cars nor buildings.
After hours of just walking around without arriving to any target, the camel sat down next to a very dry tree. It was all dark and creepy. At the distance the strange creature was with others of his kind approaching faster to the camel. They look in a hungry looking at camel as the perfect supper of that day. So the camel started running to find a safe place from the creatures.
While running, the camel fell down and hit his head. He waked up thinking he was dead, but a few moments later he start seeing green everywhere, also a lot of trees and his family too. After understanding that everything he lived was a bad dream, the camel appreciated everything he have and realize that his dream could be what will happen to the world when its end comes near.
