Al Gore is for campaign reform!
He says, “Return to the old norm”
He deplores the use of cash
Soft money breaks him out in rash
But since he cares for us so much
He has to hobble with that crutch
And now he’s spending a huge fee
To save us from the pharmacy!!!
The mean old drug firms, he decries
Are evil for their very size
Allows them to charge huge amounts
And build up corporate bank accounts
He doesn’t mention where cash will come from
That’s a mystical conundrum
But one thing is certain, we can be sure
It won’t come from him, he spent his on slurs
