I'm thankful for your eyes when they're looking into mine

I'm thankful for your smile when I catch it just in time



I'm thankful for your voice, so strong and reassuring

I'm thankful for your laugh ‘cause it takes away my worries



I'm thankful when we walk side by side and then we touch

You may not even notice, but to me, it means so much



I'm thankful when we talk for hours in the night

No matter what the subject, with you, it just seems right



I'm thankful when you help me with the things I just can't do

For an instant, it makes me think I couldn't possibly do without you



I'm thankful when you catch me when I make no sense at all

And finally get my thoughts straight before I mess up big and fall



I'm thankful for the day that first we ever met

I knew right when I saw you, you'd be one I wouldn't forget



I'll be thankful for the time when you realize we're meant to be
