Strait Jackets

Folder:
2006

The white padded walls are the limits we set for ourselves

Like white summer clouds that suddenly turn to rain

Denying our problems with self-medicated excuses

And we're all a little bit crazy

The bars on the windows steadily close us in

For everything inside us we cannot forgive

A few mood-altering drugs will help us forget

That we're all a little bit crazy

We push away the ones we love

When we think that we're not good enough

And blame the world for what goes wrong

'Cause we're all a little bit crazy

We turn to our friends when times get tough

Group therapy helps to pull us all up

And we can break free from our closeted minds

If we loosen the straps on our strait jackets
