A True Love left Unspoken

Folder:
2025

I never meant to drift away,
never thought I'd cause you pain.

But somewhere between the silence and screens,
we lost what we tried to sustain.

I saw your words—I felt them deep,
but somehow, still, I strayed.

Not knowing the weight of my absence,
not seeing the love that decayed.

I wish I had turned from the glowing light,
to see the one that truly shone.
But blinded by the fleeting world,
I left you feeling alone.

I never asked you to feel so small,
never wanted you to ache.
But distance formed between our hearts,
a bond too fragile to take.

I should have spoken—I should have stayed,
instead of hiding behind the feed.
I should have loved you the way you loved me,
not lost myself in a hollow need.

If I could go back, I’d choose again,
turn off the noise, stand by your side.

For love is not in fleeting posts,
but in the warmth of hearts that confide.

And though my words reach you too late,
know this much to be true—

No screen, no world, no distant glow
was ever worth losing you.
