I'm not sure what I did,
To make you say good- bye.
Can't you see I'm a wreck without you?
Nobody can look me in the eye.

I let you in too late,
I waited too many days.
Now my heart is breaking,
And I'm always in a haze.

I try to block out the pain.
I do m best not to cry.
But it tears me up a little more,
Everytime that you walk by.
