I sit up so the tears roll away from my eyes
i'm tired of crying and hearing the same old lies
if you don't know now, you'll never see
just how much that you, truly mean to me
your different than any other guy, your that one guy
the one that makes me smile, makes me laugh, yet also makes me cry
yet i still love you, day in day out
because i've never felt this way
we have something special together
we have a son, the light of my life
he looks just like you, smiles like you
yet you seem to want something more.
