you liked believing i was naive

you say you're leaving so just leave

you know this just might tear me apart

but i can't go on knowing she's in your heart

so pack our clothesand pack your lies

and pack the peices of our lives

and you may not notice that i'm broken

that part of me that goes unspoken

so take your promise and leave the albums

take my trust and leave your problems

i gave you everything your heart had asked for

but still you seemed to expect so much more

you wantto hear that you're forgiven

that there's another day worth living

but i can't tell you that and i can't lie

it's what you did and something i won't try

so darling i will kiss you one more time

and hold you as we say goodbye

it hurts so bad-this farewell

and if it's hurting you, i can't tell
