WATCHING THE GRASS GROW
sitting alone,
watching the grass grow
waiting for something new
and unexpected to happen
nothing changes,
but the sun sinks lower
and mommy calls me indoors
where i eat my fill of chicken soup
and think about tomorrow...
i cant wait
to watch the grass grow
