Don't look too far ahead.
Crying behind the hidden shades,
Feeling lost and empty all over and back,
Trust flies too far, but believe and it fades,
Reach out too far just to feel nothing but black.
Loose yourself in the darkness of the night,
wander for days threw the breeze and light,
confused which way or path to turn right,
fall down and close your eyes for nothing but sight.
Your heart has nothing left in it being isolated,
for years wandering the path of emptiness,
praying for any thing to hold just slightly,
light sketches in just a bud bit to see.
A glow comes and sits by me to see whats wrong,
picking up off the dirt and crust of the earth,
seeing a gift here that I never saw all along,
that's been here all along watching just waiting.
The perfect moment to pick me up off my feet,
lift my spirit and light my smile big and strong,
Come along, we have much to see... Take my hand,
unbelievable power of trust, friendship, and kindness.
Find your light that makes you happy you lost,
and you will smile and trust again like nothing,
having a reason to laugh feels too good to be true,
but remember were that all came from and you have your best friend.
