Our All In All - Sonnet
"Whoever has seen me, has seen the Father!"-
Amazing words,-but lo! what do we see?
A humble man, round whom the wretched gather,
Dispensing kindness and benignity;
Whose very being is gratuitousness,
The friend of all that hurt and are in need,
A spring of love and mercy bottomless,
Who served and healed and washed disciples feet,
"Who sees Me sees the father",- so He said*
Before He went to die upon the tree,
And for the sins of all of mankind paid:
"The Father saw the one that has seen me!"-
"Blessed are those that in my WORD abide"
And trust Jehovah Jireh will provide.
