This laughter, goes on and on,

only thing, keepin', this smile,

stretched across my face,

it can't hide, the tears,

though, I've tried,

the games are, all done,

no more lies to tell,

inner self, is on the sly,

no where left to hide,

just, my personal hell.



I had your love, and let you go,

you slipped away, my sanity,

keeps fraying, fraying....



Appreciation, most needed, always,

most allusive, for the most important,

things, mine to be abused, mine, always,

to lose and the tears,

always taste of shame,

coursing down a face,

long grown used to pain.  



I miss you, both of you, enough,

to clench a heart, tight as a fist,

to break a mind, already fragmented,

to halve a soul, that has never,

never been, other than with you,

ever close to whole,

enough to fracture, a life long fantasy,

made of lies, dreams and maybe so's.



Only half alive, missing,

the love, placed inside, the dreams,

kept safe, the love expressed,

as you lie, in my arms,

lost souls, finding a home, safety,

expression, in the sharing of,

commonality, broken halves, made whole,

heart shaped lockets, jagged edges align,

blending, seamless, one,

broken, but together....



One.



Hands shaped by God to love you,

finding in your form, recognition,

finding, memory never known,

older than time, deeper than your own,

knowing, you like no other,

flowing, seamless, home.



Mind to read, your unspoken thoughts,

a heart that hears your sorrow,

a soul that wishes, to take, all your pain,

that's been broken so many times,

enouth times, to handle the strain,

laughter to get through,

the shit in this life,

that falls like rain.



Half of me, exists, somewhere,

and I plan to find her, if I can,

I'm working on being better, so when I do,

I can be, everything, for her, that in my heart,

I feel, she will be, for me.



And my love will shine, bright enough,

to burn the stars, as bright as my eyes,

when I look into her, when my eyes travel past,

see through, and I look into, and I hold,

her soul, her mind, her heart in my eyes,

my mind and I whisper....
