He that winneth souls is wise
The old black book proclaims
The fruit of the righteous a tree of life
Seeking to enter in Heaven new names
He knocks at the door with the tract in hand
And a fire burning within his heart
Giving glory to God is his highest aim
And to give a lost sinner a new start
His testimony untarnished A hard worker is he
The first to arrive and the last to leave
Throughout the work week he proves exemplary
Hoping his coworkers will soon Christ recieve
The Word he has studied diligently
He's a workman that needeth not to be ashamed
Ready to give account for the hope that is within him
He stands ready to convert the marred and defamed
"Repent and be baptized" Are his zealous cries
"Ye must be born again" is his subtle exposition
When his enemies oppose the work which he works
He stands ready to continue in his expodition
His worry is not for a flowery bed of ease
He cares not if he comes home to a hot dinner
His wife he loves, his child he loves, a poseser of charity
You ask me his name? My reply: a soul winner!
