See the stars blaze deep in your eyes,
as the rain sets in my skies.
Your eyes has been locked in my head for days,
you could tell if you knew what my heart says.

When we talk, my breath but a whisper,
of all the things I long to tell her.
As I watch your eyes slowly fixate on mine,
my mind races but my heart's out of line.

Falling from the world I know,
my heart is lost deep down below.
The few moments you're staring into me,
is feeling like you've captured my sanity.

I latch on to this moment I have with you,
as if your eyes have fallen from the sun and moon.
In this moment.. all I see is your pretty face,
as I feel the room disappear into empty space.

I can't explain the way I feel,
or how scared I am to let this be real.
It could be better to let you go on,
and let myself keep singing the same song.

Your hand pressed hard against my lips,
stopping me before the truth slips.
That you know that just like the shining sun,
I loved you before our friendship begun.

I can't help but flinch when we talk,
something so beautiful, how could I not?
I hope you understand better how I think,
and why I feel like I'll always sink...
