and that terrifies me

you have no idea

how much

I love you

and even thinking that

makes my lungs hurt

because I know

I love you

and I wonder

do you feel the same

I hope so because

I love you

and everyday I worry

that I won't be able to give you

what you want

I love you

and I'm scared it's not enough

to hold us together

I love you

I wish you could

look me in the eye

and say

I love you

because I'm so terrified

you don't want me to say

those words
