Don’t be so blind

You know the things I hide

The reasons I cry at night

All alone tucked in my blankets

Wondering why



You’re done with me

At least for now

But we all know how it is

Every time you go away

There is a coming back



As you walk out the door

I can hear the sound

I can’t forget about you

I see you

I taste you

I can’t take this anymore

This life of uncertainty

I pick myself off the bed

I know you’re done with me

And I’m done with you



I guess I’ll pack up my things

I guess I’ll leave for now

I’m out the door

And all I hear is the sound
