Animal Crackers.

I went to see the Monkeys in the London Zoo,

Honestly I had really nothing else to do.

I watched the Elephants giving rides for quite while,

At least they with their long trunks made me smile.

Many Giraffes with their long, long necks,

Made me wish they could all write out cheques?

My bank balance is right on the ground you know.

Money does not grow on trees or in the Zoo

The animals all know this and like me do not know what to do.

Like me they will all stop in the Zoo it will save the leather on my old shoe.

If I was a millionaire I would repatriate them all back to their forest homes.

With no money of my own I cannot send them all home and it is driving me crackers.

That is why I called this scribble Animal Crackers.
