Bern's Prose. - Words.
- Words and parts of words dancing before my eyes, is this some form of malicious punishment for my using words in my prose? One must use words when writing. Just odd letters of the alphabet here and there would make no sense. The attacks come mainly when I am nearing the end of whatever I am writing. The letters either in Capitals or small letters rush at me; a real hefty barrage at times. I am not afraid; it takes more than a few alphabetical bits and pieces to frighten me.
- What causes these mad attacks is my brain going? Is it my old age or have I been overworking writing all of the rubbish that I usually write. Is it I ask myself a protest from my brain or from my computer. I have this sneaky feeling that my brain and my computer have ganged up on me and these attacks of letters are their way of protesting.
- If they think that they are going to get away with these attacks they have chosen the wrong man for it. I am a stubborn old man with a history of being a fighter for my rights. Damn it why should my computer have a go at me. I use it daily, it has the possibility to communicate with the whole world. My modem is modern and the wireless waves reach so that it could talk with the aeroplanes flying high over my head.
- So why these attacks on my Person? Perhaps my computer has dust or are the small electro motors that drive the small fans to cool the system getting tired, Should I clean the computer. The keyboard I have renewed, I must learn not to hit the keys so hard perhaps that is the reason for these alphabet attacks. I would not mind but just to be attacked by fragments of words is not my idea of intelligent conversation. I do not use Windows any more changing their systems has got past the novelty of something new. I now use Linux Mint as my operating system. It is a free downloadable system written by experts from all over the world. Whenever there is something new it is downloadable and costs nothing. One if one is satisfied may give a donation. Whereas Bill Gates with his every year a new system has become multi millionaire. I have at least four paid for systems sitting in my cupboard that are useless. For me personally no more Bill Gates and his stupid window systems to take control of my computer.
- Another attack of broken sentences is coming at me. Please bear with me when I close this small piece of prose in a hurry. I missed that chunk of cudgel. Yes it could only have been cudgel. Bern
