World Upside Down.

Once again the television and the newspapers are full of stories about the world’s atmosphere warming up. Do the governments do anything about this dangerous state of affairs? No every day more and more cars, lorries busses, motor bikes and last but no means least the aeroplanes. Each of these vehicles blows out co². Carbon di-oxide this is what its warming the atmosphere.

As most people know trees and bushes even the grass breathes in carbon di-oxide and breathes out oxygen. What does mankind do he chops down huge areas of the oxygen spending trees? The Amazon is a good example in other parts of the world other forests are being cleared. That is not enough Look in your own hometown how fast are the small green oasis being built on. Soon the main spender of oxygen the tree will become extinct. Then it will be goodbye to all living things in this world.

Some Governments have realised this danger and for every tree that is chopped down a new tree must be planted. If this is not the practise in your country then do write or phone your members of Parliament. Make a nuisance of yourselves. Tell those concerned to take their fingers out and get trees planted everywhere. Stop the building on any green park or area leave it to Mother Nature she will soon regain those areas that are left dormant. Do something it is after all yours and your children and your children’s children that will suffer if there is too little oxygen in this world. Do something about it before it is too late. This is not a little something that I have made up to write a few lines to post on the Internet.

This is a really serious matter. I have heard that aeroplanes can fly on hydrogen gas that will save thousands of tons of co². Why are aeroplanes still using Sprit or Benzene, Petrol if you will? Must hundreds of aeroplanes be in the air at the same time poisoning the air we breathe? Must busses run all day long must people use cars or motorbikes every day of the week?

 I can hear some of the answers now. I need transport to get to work, I must use an aeroplane to fly abroad on business why not use a telephone that involves no co² and if there are any papers to be signed then use your computer and send the documents over the internet. Holidays can be great fun in your own country use your legs, go on a hikers tour. It will give you a chance to breath in fresh air not that air in the towns polluted with co² and other gasses.

The world is really upside down hence my title for this scribble.
