Luck!

  • I call it luck I'll have you all know,
  • If life has shown you the right way to go.
  • Luck is however a many faceted thing,
  • One never knows what it might bring.
  • Perhaps moneys will come your way,
  • I myself would prefer good health any day.
  • You could meet the love that you seek,
  • Perhaps, today or perhaps next week.
  • A good portion of luck could change your ways,
  • You could have comfort for the rest of your days.
  • Luck could change your unwilling path,
  • Let you live in luxury with a fire in the hearth.
  • You could always be on the winning side,
  • Your happiness you could never hide.
  • There are many things that you could do,
  • To make people dependent on you.
  • But luck has a habit one to ignore,
  • To make your life a tedious chore.
  • Luck can turn like the waves,
  • Leave you with nothing but hopeless craves.
  • What I am trying to say luck will have its own way.
  • It might not even come your way.
  • So do not rely on luck alone my friend,
  • Use your intelligence make it a trend.
  • One can be lucky in life,
  • With the right person be it man or wife.
  • For love needs no luck just good will,
  • Eat of such sweetness and have your fill.
