to my sons: i will breath life in to you, so i'm just trying to catch my breath any time i'm chasing you around the house in dippers,you will be train at a young age that i will always be there when you need me the most. and one day i hope you still look up to me when you realize i'm not superman.cause i don't need a cape and i don't need a mask or tights for you to realize your father will do anything to protect you. i will teach you how to protect and provide so if one day your ever given the choice to being a lover and a fighter, you will choose lover everyday of the week and twice on Tuesday...cause it takes passion to fight for what you love! otherwise what are you fighting for. your last name holds weight and you will learn that the pathway to manhood is never through a womans vagina but starts by respect your mother

to my daughter: if sugar and spice and everything nice is what little girl are made, lord have mercy on the first boy you bring home that want a taste. i'm not saying i wont trust you but please believe i have spent the last 30 years of my life trying to be worthy enough to be call your father, i will never be to old for tea party and at night i will read you bed time story from a dictionary or story of headstrong princesses cause i never wont you to think you need a man to defined you and if your anything like your mother, you will graceful dance on that fine line of beauty and intelligence
