Fly Away



All the thoughts and dreams I’ve had

Have all come crashing down

My very own reality

Has been burnt to the ground

But I wait and still stand strong

For I will not bow

I’ve been fighting all along

It’s not my time to now



Because I refuse to fall

Knocked down, I’ll get right back up

Hit me, beat me with your all

Don’t think I’ve  given up



I’ve gone through hell, I’ll still stand strong

I will not be defeated

As long as I have breath in my lungs

I will fight what you’ve created



So fly away, my enemy

Now’s your time to retreat

Or you will face agony

When you face your own defeat

So fly away, little sparrow

Cause if you refuse to retreat

You will not see tomorrow

You will face your own defeat



All the goods and bads we’ve had

They make no difference now

Because it comes down to this moment

One of us is going down

I may fall but I’ll still stand strong

For I refuse to bow

We’ve been fighting all along

Your time has come now



I refuse to fall

Knocked down, I’ll get right back up

Beat me, swing with your all

Don’t think I’m giving up

You’re the one that’s gonna fall



I’ve gone through hell, I’ll still stand strong

Until the battle I have won

As long as I have breath in my lungs

I will kill what you’ve become



So fly away, my enemy

Now you can’t retreat

Because you will face agony

Until I put you to peace

So fly away, little sparrow

Into our safe abode above

Cause for you, there’s no tomorrow

For you’ve lived long enough
