There’s a girl that won’t live with a smile like a child
Her past will torment her through years and years
If there’s a higher being, you should knock at her door
Take her for a walk and emancipate her long lost love

Her smile and beams of light in her eyes
She is running and the grass is her cushion of love
Catch her, lift her and send her flying through the sky
It makes me wonder if she’ll ever find her long lost love

She is running away and hiding in caves
She is just a girl, without her long lost love
All she does is act out, slashing her pain thinking it would go

If you ever hear the golden trumpets blow
Be awaken my child, the birds will guide you home
I will wipe away all your tears and broken promises
We have failed you, I wonder if you’ll ever smile once again
