Tears of pain and agony
Promises of what I'll be
Discovered life has many fears
And bravery doesn't stop the tears.
I'll stand my ground and stand the test
Of time and what is laid to rest
In a grave beside a marriage true
Will join his spouse as one is two.
And finally that, for which she'll wait
What forty years will separate
At peace again, as hand in hand
Eventual fate, I'll understand.
