"It became less and less alive, less of an institution of Him. It warped into a tragedy and a mockery of forgiveness and unconditional love. Until finally, it was just a word on a sheet of paper. Seemingly in another language, foreign and misunderstood. Over time, the ink on paper faded and could no longer be seen. It appeared to be a blank piece of paper. Painful stories were written over the words that once so victoriously hanged on the wall. Having released the pain to paper, it was good for nothing more than to kindle a fire... and being now ashes was forgotten."
