What does it mean to give my heart away?

What is MY LOVE worth?



MY LOVE is worth

More than dime lines from your wooden nickel face.



MY LOVE is worth

More than your double standards

     Where your actions speak louder than your words.



MY LOVE is worth more than

     Diamonds or cold hard cash,

     Pearls, furs or lace...

MY LOVE CANNOT BE REPLACED!



MY LOVE isn't the size of an ocean...

     It is bigger than all the universe's that



SURROUND THIS ONE!



MY LOVE is Patient...

     Like that one lone wave that waits an eternity...

     Just to reach the shore.



MY LOVE is STRONG,

     It has carried families.

     It has weathered...

          Sexual Abuse,

          Bigotry,

          Drug Addicts,

          Thieves and gutless punks.

And MY LOVE's strength FORGIVES...



FOR MY SAKE.



MY LOVE is HARD,

     I will not tell you...

     ONLY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR,

     And I will not lower myself to speak in lies.



MY LOVE is COMPASSIONATE,

     I'm no jerk & there's no "ass" in it.

     I'll hold you secure,

     Your worry's will fall away

     On that you can be sure.

     I only say what I mean and

     Mean only what I say.



I DO NOT WANT TO BE YOUR DREAM...

BUT A GIVING FRIEND YOU'LL ALWAYS NEED.



MY LOVE IS FACT,

     It is F-ast, A-ccurate, C-onsice, and T-rue.

     Wether you want it or not, it's given,

     And you can't stop me from loving you.



HOWEVER....



MY LOVE isn't a commodity up for "SALE",

     It isn't just about winning my heart...

     It's about EARNING my TRUST.



SO..



If you can't take me as I am--

Take me at my word...

MY LOVE is worth more to me...
