I wonder why you haunt me

To rid you I have no will

I wonder will my dreams live in this sleep

Tears run down my face

Try as I might

I can’t run away

Leave me tonight

I beg you please

I wake and wonder

Did I rest

Have I uncovered

Did I fight, my best

Tonight I wish

To sleep in calm

I want this peace

Not this raging bomb

Save me please

Hold me tonight
