I miss your smile

I can still see it

Blue eyed and a hard man

You were

But baby you had me

I never wanted you to change

No baby not even for me

All I wanted was for you to love me the same

I remember how it felt to love you how I miss those days

Now it’s been years and baby for me it was yesterday

Take off your hat and stay

I miss you everyday

I see you in my dreams the smile

That was once mine and baby how I wish I could say:

‘I love you’

Now it’s been years and baby for me it was yesterday

But look at me baby

Here I am

Baby what  can I do

But say, ‘I love you’
