I wish everyone could feel my pain,
Wallowing is self pity,
Words never helping,
Feelings never leaving,
Wishing I were numb once again,
Numb to the pain, the love, the hate,
Numb to everything,
Death is the way out,
Ever item of destruction is calling my name,
Telling me to use it on myself,
But the world is holding me back,
The ones I love,
Holding me back,
Not letting me pass on,
Move on,
See if there is a better place,
Numbness spreading,
Back into my mind,
My body is responding,
Vision fading,
Feelings lowering,
Head stops pounding,
Mouth stops speaking,
Heart stops pumping,
Eyes close one last time,
This time,
They close forever,
One last breath,
Inhale,
Exhale,
One last thought,
Then never again . . .
