i cannot measure the joy you brought me when
you came to me and asked for my name
you told me of things i never knew
you explained the existence of life anew
together we explored the phases of change
understood the complications of ways
little by little we came to accept
that some thing is up as we believe
for in trials we stood strong
celebrating happiness when it comes along
the love and faith keeps us alive
it is wonderful that we have finally arrived
