--FATE--
I was always somewhere in the background,
Sometimes so quiet not even making a sound.
I wanted to turn things around,so you knew i was there.
Cause I could tell from the burning of your stare.
When we saw each other, we would usually look away.
Scared, shy or even wondering, not really knowing what to say.
Finally one day, I decided to take a chance.
I went to talk to you, just wanting another glance.
It felt so good to look you in your eyes,
Hoping you couldn't read what my heart wanted to cry.
Everytime we bumped into eachother, we ended up on the same boat,
If it wasn't fate, at least it was restored my hope.
Something funny that day we were laughing, and talking.
But our departure is what we were delaying.
As the day came to an end,
At least I could say we were like bestfriends.
But to my surprise, it wasn't over yet.
The joy and excitement was almost too much and even harder bare. I finally felt your lips and not one word could i say.
All day long a smile was on my face.
But does cupid's arrow work at that pace?
It's hard to say what love can do,
I just hope you felt the same way too.
After that night, a dinner is on the list.
It didn't matter to me, I was still hoping for another kiss.
The frustrations of having you so near,
Still not reaching out because of our wonders and fears.
In the end, Only time will tell and only GOD can say what will happen with us.
But that wonderful day I will never forget, The warmth we felt abound,
And you must forever feel this
Even when I am not around.
