Him

He enters the room and 

immediately his presence is realized
You can sense the recognition of his actions from the eyes of the others.
They glance over briefly before looking away as if to say "Oh it's just him" 
He cannot escape what he has done to offend them in the past
The brown marbles of his eyes reflect a faint sadness and regret over past choices. 
He has carried around the guilt of taking the wrong path at the crossroads for years now
But there is hope, as one sole figure approaches him 
Her soft voice rekindles his hope  and 
the light renters his eyes 
His past cannot be forgiven, but she does not care.
All of that can be overwritten
with a simple choice
 to talk to him
