La llama fria

Author's Full Portfolio

A cold flame
Crying at dawn
Waiting for her lover's embrace
That will ignite the warmth of her heart sad

she knows
That their own heat
the extinguished
And dies

As a river dies without riverbed
Absorbed by the earth
evaporates
And disappears

That makes a flame tremble?
The cold?
Fear River?
Waiting for your beloved?

she expected
looking
the dawn
everyday

With the dew that frightens
But that precedes the sun
That reminds
The flames reborn after dark

In her agony
Remains a spark of hope
of living
Knowing that her lover will warm her
