Silence in solidarity
Power in premise
Promises broken, lies foretold, decisions acted upon.
Suspicions being thrown around
The tears welled up into the light filled eyes
Walking the long walk of dismissal for the two with only the one
Is it over or overdone?
A new day has come and gone
Thinking I’ll be gone until November
Washing my heart with the bitterness of vinegar
Holding the words in I need/want to say
Dumbing myself down in the darkness
Intellectualizing my defenses
Dreams dripping into a once delusional ranting of space
Loyalty being questioned
Honor being bestowed
Integrity being restored
Think it over and get back to the life of the moment
Think it over
Remove the silent tears that run down a solemn face
Think it over
Think it over as the sun rises over your end of dreams devoured
Foreshadowed by your angst and anger
Think it over until it makes sense and you have to let go by not letting go
