One thing I know is that no matter how bad things get,

The sun will always rise, although the rain may fall,

The stars will always be there up above in the midnight sky,

With all the love in my heart, Fear in my soul,

Tears in my eyes, Strength in my mind,

I am now able to look you in the eyes, speak my mind,

No longer will I stand for being used by people,

You mean more to me than anything that surrounds me,

I would gladly give up everything just for one moment.



Today was going to be completely different to any other day,

And for that reason I will never forget it,

The way you walked over to me, took me by the hand,

Smiled as you brushed the hair from my cheek,

whispered so softly in my ear,

"Will you be mine ?".

I remember the way you smiled, the look in your eyes,

Your gentle touch, and the passion in your kiss.



One moment was all I asked for,

From that one day, moment in time,

I am forever gratefull,

For it has led to a lifetime,

Full of memories,

I wouldn't change for the world,
